What We Do

From helping you choose that one perfect plant—fresh from our farm—to transforming an entire backyard or commercial space, we’re here to make your vision real. We can support as much or as little of your project as you need, from consultation to installation to ongoing maintenance, and every step in between.

Many of the plants used in your project come directly from our farm in Lexington, SC. We invite you to visit and see each plant in person, experience the quality up close, and imagine how your landscape could come to life in a real-world setting.

Homegrown materials. Expert support. Professional installation — all in one place.

Design

Patios, lighting, irrigation, or full landscape plans — we design outdoor spaces that work beautifully for homes and businesses. Our landscape architect lets your vision leads the way.

Build

We don’t just landscape; we build spaces meant for connection. From hardscape and green spaces to perennial and annual plantings, our team has the know-how to complete your residential or commercial project.

Consult

Smart planning makes all the difference. Whether you need a complete landscape project or just one portion, we bring best practice design and installation to every step.

Maintenance

Beautiful landscapes aren’t accidental — they’re the result of consistent care. Our ongoing landscape and lawn services keep your commercial or residential property looking its best year-round.

 about us

Premium homegrown materials.

Expert guidance.

Professional installation.

All under one roof.

OLD TURTLE POND FARM has deep roots in South Lexington County, beginning as a contract grower for major suppliers and garden centers across the Northeast and Midwest.  When the pandemic temporarily closed many garden centers, the farm decided to try selling plants locally.  What started as a single booth at Columbia’s Soda City Market soon blossomed into a loyal following of gardeners eager to snap up the farm’s healthy, locally grown plants at true wholesale pricing.

Even as the world reopened, the enthusiasm never slowed.  The success at Soda City Market prompted interest in whether people would drive to the farm.  As it turned out, they did!    As a wholesale farm, Old Turtle Pond Farm is open to the public only a few weekends in the spring and a few in the fall, or by appointment, offering a rare chance to shop directly from a working wholesale farm.

What began as simple requests from our loyal OLD TURTLE POND FARM customers has blossomed into a thriving landscape business. Customers love visiting the farm to purchase directly from the grower, but many need guidance with landscape consultation, design, installation, and maintenance.

To meet that need, OLD TURTLE POND FARM LANDSCAPES was born in February 2025. We specialize in transforming ideas—whether a simple sketch or a fully imagined professional design —into professional landscape designs and installations. From cozy residential gardens to large-scale commercial projects, we create outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and enduring.

From concept to completion—and everything in between.
